You Are Your Neighborhood

We are looking for a new house for our family.

As we drive around the different neighborhoods, I notice the people who live there.

Mostly, they are oblivious to us.

They go about their business: they jog, walk dogs, clean up leaves, have arguments, play games with their children, wash cars, and pick up their mail.

They wear business suits. Or sweat suits.

They play music. Different types of music.

Sometimes, they smile and wave as they see us walk with our agent to the house with a “For Sale” sign.  Other times, they roll their eyes.

I notice whether the kids play in groups or on their own, supervised or unsupervised.

I observe neighbors saying (or not saying) hello to each other as they pass each other by.

All these people make their neighborhood what it is.

YOU are your neighborhood. If you are good, your neighborhood is good.

YOU are your workplace. If you are interesting, your workplace is interesting.

YOU Are the world you live in, AND simultaneously you Create the world you live in.

Make it magical.

Make it Good.

And you will attract like-minded, magical, good people who will want to live and work near you.
